Coventry City U23's were beaten 1-0 by Cardiff City this afternoon.

Nicky Eaden's side were a goal down after eighty seconds when Matt Kennedy scored from close range following Addai being unable to hold a shot.

Kennedy was a threat through out the rest of the first half and the second period against a Coventry side which had George Thomas hit the post in the 14th minute.

Tom Bayliss, Kyle Spence, Jack McCourt, Jack Finch, Darragh Leahy  as well as Corey Addai showed plenty of promise but City went down to defeat.
