Coventry City U21's won 1-0 at Ipswich Town tonight.

City boss Dave Hockaday field a strong side which included Blair Turgott who had scored against Peterborough United for the first team on Saturday and George Thomas who scored for the U18's v Crystal Palace and James Maddison in his first game back after a back injury for this evening game at Portman Road.

Against an Ipswich side which lost 2-0 at Birmingham City last week, the Sky Blues had all the play in the opening thirty minutes but could not find the net and there were no goals at half-time.

However, in the 55th minute, Ryan Haynes got down the left and crossed for George Thomas to slot into the net.

Ipswich, despite fielding a number of first team players could not get through a solid Sky Blues defence and City took another win.
