Coventry City U21's were beaten 3-0 at Ipswich Town.

City fielded a changed team from the one which beat Cardiff City last week with Conor Thomas back in midfield and two trialists up front for this game at Ipswich's Playford Road Training Ground.

Ipswich, who won 2-1 at Leeds United in their opening game, were a goal up after three minutes when Cameron Stuart netted and in the 26th minute, they had a second when Alabi raced through to score.

Thirty five minutes of the first half had gone when the home side scored a third thanks to full back Jonny Parr scoring from outside the area.

There were no more goals in the game and City U21's first away league game of the season saw them leave with a 3-0 defeat.
