Coventry City have named Nicky Eaden as their new U21's coach.

Eaden replaces Lee Glover, who moved to Peterborough United, and will take charge of the U21's team this season and is a former Barnsley, Wigan and Nottingham Forest player, who has coached at Peterborough, Leicester City and Rotherham United.

Speaking about the appointment to Laura Hunter, City manager Tony Mowbray said: "I'm delighted to welcome Nicky to the club after a lengthy recruitment process which attracted a high calibre of applicants.

“Nicky is vastly experienced in the game and I'm sure the group will benefit from the coaching experience he has obtained in his roles at Leicester City and Rotherham.

“There is a good tradition of developing young talent from the Academy at this club and I am sure that Nicky will be working hard to continue that culture.”
