Coventry Storm Speedway Team were beaten 42-47 by Mildenall at Brandon tonight.

The first five heats finished in 3-3's but in heat six, the visitors went ahead with a 4-2.

In a re-run heat seven, Stefan Nielsen rode for a 4-2 to level things up and that was the way it stayed for three heats until Mildenhall took a 5-1 in heat eleven.

Three more 3-3's meant that Mildenhall led by four points going into a final heat which saw Nielsen and Bates excluded rather harshly by the referee and when the heat was run, Joe Jacobs beat James Sarjeant to see the Storm beaten by five points.

Coventry 42: James Sarjeant 11, Dan Greenwood 9+3, Oliver Greenwood 9, Stefan Nielsen 7+1, Ryan Terry-Daley 4+2, Martin Knuckey 2, Luke Crang R/R
