Ricoh Arena Stages Olympic Anti-Terror Meeting

The Ricoh Arena played host yesterday to a summit of security officials charged with ensuring that the London 2012 Olympic games passes off peacefully.

Officials met at the ground which will be staging both mens and womens football to discuss how they would deal if there were any attacks or protests at the games.

Securirty forces and agencies are understood to have been training for months in readiness.

Security will be very tight around the Ricoh Arena which will be known as the City Of Coventry Stadium throughout the games with staff searches and checkpoints whilst supporters attending matches can expect to go through airport style security checks.
