Charges of racism made made against Nuneaton Town youth team players George Washbourne and Lewis Edwards have been withdrawn and removed from the records.

Nuneaton have confirmed that the charges have been expunged from FA records and the duo have had their club suspensions lifted with immediate effect.

However, Nuneaton said on its official club website: "the club will not be identifying the two players who have since been charged, and have asked the press to refrain from doing so too.

The two players charged have both been suspended by the club until the outcome of the investigation by the Birmingham County FA is known.

Conor Baker who is has since left the club but has applied his defence and is awaiting a personal hearing. The club has fully complied with all parties to resolve the matter at the earliest time."
