Nuneaton Player Accused Ot Making Racist Comments

A former Nuneaton Town youngster has been accused ot racially abusing an opponent during a game.

Conor Baker is alleged to have made remarks during a youth team game with Chasetown at Nuneaton Town FC.

Although he denies the accusations, Mr Baker's contract at Nuneaton has been cancelled. However, he has signed for Midland Alliance side Atherstone Town and scored for them in the win over Willenhall on Saturday..

The Birmingham County FA are investigating the matter and Nuneaton have tweeted:"The club are currently waiting for any charges from bcfa as reported against the Youth Team today but take the matter very seriously."
