Nuneaton In To Play-Offs

Nuneaton Town are into Conference North Play-Offs after a 3-2 victory at Bylth Spartans.

Wayne Phillips fired the Croft Park side ahead in the fourth minute but Kevin Wilkin's side went straight up the other end and were level through an Arnson curler.

On the half hour mark, Forsdick put Nuneaton 2-1 up before Joe Kendrick levelled in the 37th minute. Again, Nuneaton went up the other end and Danny Glover scored to give Nuneaton a 3-2 and a place in the play-offs.

The first leg against Guiseley will take place on Wednesday May 2nd at The Triton Showers Community Arena k.o. 7.45pm. The return leg will be at Guiseley on Sunday 6th May k.o. 3 pm.

Leamington will have to compete for another season in the Southern League Premier Division after finishing seventh, following a 3-2 home win over Chesham United.

Bedworth United face Uxbridge on Tuesday night in a Southern League Central Division Play-Off.

Bedworth beat Biggleswade Town 3-1 at The Oval to finish off their league campaign. The Greenbacks took the lead through Mitch Piggon in the tenth minute and scored a second from Robinson just after the half hour mark.

Gentle pulled one back in the 69th minute but Luke Corbett finished off a good win with a goal in the 84th minute.

Rugby Town beat Marlow 1-0 with a 59th minute Morgan goal.

Coventry Sphinx finished third in the Midland Alliance after Westfields took second spot with a 4-1 win over Atherstone.

Stratford Town completed their fixtures with a 2-1 win at Boldmere St Michaels.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Southam United won 4-2 at Bolehall Swifts, Racing Club Warwick lost 2-1 at Pershore and Nuneaton Griff lost 5-1 at Walsall Wood.

Alvis v West Midlands Police was postponed.
