Nuneaton Draw But Leamington Win

Nuneaton Town drew 0-0 at Solihull Moors in a Conference North game this afternoon.

Solihull played the latter part of the second half with ten men when Danny Spencer was sent off for kicking Danny Glover off the ball.

A crowd of 373 saw Leamington FC beat Hemel Hempstead 3-1 in a Southern League Premier Division fixture.

A 30th minute Morley penalty fired the Brakes ahead and it was two, two minutes before the break when Steele scored.

Sharif pulled one back in the 61st minute but three minutes later, Blythe wrapped up a good win.

Bedworth United beat Slough Town 5-3 in a thrilling game at The Oval.

Mitch Piggon opened the scoring in the 17th minute before former Coventry City youngster Tom Bates hit a second in the 40th minute.

Logie pulled one back in the 44th minute and a minute after the restart they were level through Bowden-Haase. Bedworth went straight up the other end and Ian Roper fired the Greenbacks back in front. Spencer converted a penalty in the 61st minute and four minutes later, Piggon made it five. Anderson hit a third for Slough five minutes from time.

Rugby Town lost 4-0 at North Greenford United.

Coventry Sphinx are still top of the Midland Alliance despite losing 2-1 at Highgate United as second placed Westfields lost 4-1 at home to Rocester.

Stratford Town won 4-1 at Ellesmere Rangers but Atherstone lost 2-1 at Coleshill Town.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Racing Club Warwick won 4-1 at Bartley Green but Southam United lost 2-1 at Walsall Wood.

In Division One, Alvis lost 1-0 at home to Archdale 73.

In Division Two, Leamington Hibernian lost 2-1 at home to Polesworth.
