Former City Players To Turn Out For Charity Game

Former Coventry City players are to play in a fund-raising game for the families of the four fire fighters who lose their lives in a warehouse fire near Alcester last month.

The game will take place at Stratford's FISSC in Knights Lane,Tiddington on Sunday December 9th at noon and will see a Midlands Select X1 including Dave Bennett, Cyrille Regis,Dave Phillips, David Busst, Peter Bodak and Sam Shilton playing against DCS, where one of the firefighters, John Aversis, worked part-time.

Admission is £3 with an auction after the game.

Coventry fire-fighters have already raised over £4,500 to help the families of the four who died
