Draws For Nuneaton And Leamington

Nuneaton Town were held to a 2-2 draw this afternoon by bottom of the Conference North Blyth Spartans.

The visitors took a 31st minute lead through Taylor before Nuneaton levelled five minutes later thanks to Gareth Dean finding the net.

Armstrong put the visitors back in front in the 51st minutes and after Nuneaton had Armson sent off, Forsdick equalised in the 61st minute to keep Nuneaton fifth in the table.

Leamington drew 0-0 at Hitchin in a Southern League Premier Division game.

Bedworth United's Southern League Central Division game at Barton Rovers was postponed but Rugby Town beat Leighton Town 3-0 with goals from Leahy (13), Fagan (54) and Keen (60).

In the Midland Alliance, Coventry Sphinx stay top after a1-0 home win against Tipton Town. Elsewhere in the division, Atherstone lost 1-0 to Team of The Month Gresley and Stratford drew 0-0 at Loughborough Uni.

In the Midland Combination Premier Division, Coventry Copsewood took an eighth minute lead through PJ Gordon but Millan levelled on the stroke of half time for home side Southam United.

Goals from Charlton and Blake gave Racing Club Warwick a 2-0 win at Pelsall Villa.

Nuneaton Griff lost 2-0 at Bartley Green.
