Cup Final For Coventry United

Coventry United play in their first ever cup final tomorrow.

The Allard Way based team, in their first season of Midland Combination Division 2 football after taking over the Coventry Spires franchise, has reached the final of the Midland Combination Challenge Vase, a competition for Midland Combination Division Two clubs.

Coventry United, who have beaten Paget Rangers 3-2, won 2-1 away to Leamington Hibernian and won 2-0 at Barton United in the semi-final face a long established Midland Combination side in Enville Athletic who have got past Inkberrow, Polesworth and Kenilworth Town.

The final is being held at Chelmsley Town FC and kick off at The Pavillion is at 3pm. Admission is £5 for adults and £3 for concessions.

Coventry United are running a coach which costs £10 per person with U14's free to travel with a full paying adult.

The coach will collect from Coventry Swimming Baths at 12.45, St Finbarr's at 1pm and should be back around 7pm.
