Coventry born Cal Crutchlow finished eleventh in the Grand Prix De France MotoGP.
Marc Marquez won the race at Le Mans, 1.486 seconds ahead of Valentino Rossi.
Crutchlow tweeted: "Well the result wasn’t at all what we wanted but at least finished ! More than I can say for last races.
"All trying our best at this is the situation at the moment for us both. Keep trying and give our all."
