City Ladies Get Two Wins And A Loss In Same Game

Coventry City Ladies were involved in a strange pre-season against a British Universities and Colleges side on Wedesday night.

The game ended up as ninety minutes of football in which Nat Harding put the Students in front but City replied with goals from Kerrie Manley and Kim Farrow.

Then in a seperate game of thirty minutes duration, a spectacular Eartha Pond goal gave the Students a 1-0 win. This was followed by a penalties win for the Sky Blues.

City team: Wood, Wilcox, Ward, Simpkins, Foster, Manley, Farrow, Goulding, Saulter, Torkildsen, Gauntlett, Formaston, Dermody, McKenna, Rawle, Steele.

Coventry City Ladies are next in action this Sunday when they take on Arsenal at Coventry Sphinx FC. Kick off at Sphinx Drive is at 2pm and support is very much welcome.
