Damien Cassidy has stood down after seven years as manager of Alvis Sporting FC.

Cassidy has taken his team up into the Midand Combination Premier Division from the Coventry Alliance and this season faced having to play matches on four different grounds whilst work was done on Alvis' Green Lane home.

However, he has decided that he has taken the team as far as he can and Rob Kimberlin and Nigel Starkey, who have assisted him for a number of years, will take the team next season.
