Blaze Win At Cardiff

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team won 3-2 at Cardiff Devils tonight.

In Cardiff, the Blaze were straight on the attack with Adam Henrich hitting a post and on 4.30, they took the lead through Josh Bruce, assisted by Russ Cowley. Goal;  http://youtu.be/eJQ3p25rfN0 

Cardiff levelled on 6.23 through Chris Blight, assisted by Max Birbraer but five minutes and a second later, Coventry were back in front through Shea Guthrie who scored, assisted by Brad Leeb and Derek Campbell. (Goal  http://youtu.be/Ugp5czEMfJc)

Whilst Tyson Marsh was off the ice with a two minute penalty for slashing, Coventry scored a third on 26.09 with Greg Leeb scoring a powerplay goal, assisted by Henrich. (Goal http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eODtSPFtRBE&feature=youtu.be

On 36.08, Cardiff reduced the arrears when Max Birbraer netted, assisted by Mark Richardson and Jesse Gimblett. 

The third period some fine defending by the Blaze and great saves by net minder Peter Hirsch to ensure that they ran out 3-2 winners.
