Blaze Beaten At The Giants

Coventry Blaze were beaten 4-2 at Belfast Giants tonight.

Against the Belfast Giants, there were 23 Blaze fans in the Odyssey Arena tonight to see Russ Cowley give Coventry the lead on 2.10.

Some poor defending allowed Mike Hoffman to equalise on 11.55 and
46 seconds into the second period, Cook gave Belfast the lead. Hoffman was involved setting up Peacock for Belfast's second on 31.56.

Belfast led 3-1 at the end of the second period but back came the Blaze and Greg Owen, assisted by Dan Carlson on 42.46 hit a second for Coventry

With less than a minute of the match remaining, the Blaze's net minder Jaeger was pulled and Bayrack scored an empty net goal to give Belfast a 4-2 victory.

It's all back to the Sky Dome as Coventry Blaze take on the Belfast Giants on Sunday. Face off is at 6pm.
