Blaze Beaten At Nottingham

Coventry Blaze Ice Hockey team were beaten 2-1 tonight in an Elite League match at Nottignham Panthers.

After a goal-less first period, Nottingham had a power play and Marc Levers scored on 30.20.

There were no further goals until third period when the Blaze drew level through Greg Chambers asssisted by Jon Weaver on 50.37.

However, it was short lived joy for the travelling Blaze fans as Johan Molin netted on a powerplay on 54.06 to give the home side a win.

Next Saturday, the Blaze travel to Belfast before taking on Hull Stingrays at the Sky Dome on Sunday September 20th.
