Coventry Blaze ice Hockey team beat Braehead Clan 6-2 tonight at the Sky Dome in an Elite League match.

Robert Farmer fired Coventry ahead on 11.55 with a powerplay goal, assisted by Dustin Wood and Shea Guthrie.

Braehead levelled four minutes later with a powerplay goal, due to Matty Soderstrom being off the ice serving a two minute penalty for hooking, from Jordan Krestanovich.

However before the end of the first, The Blaze were back in front thanks to Dustin Wood scoring on 18.24, assisted by Woo-Sang Park and Shea Guthrie.

Wood scored his second of the night, three minutes and seven seconds into the second period, with a powerplay goal, assisted by Robert Farmer and Owen Fussey.

On 27.19, Matic Kralj made it 4-1 to Coventry when he scored, assisted by Russ Cowley and Dave Phillips and forty seconds later, Robert Farmer found the net, this time, assisted by Shea Guthrie and  Jonathan Weaver.

It stayed that way until 57.28 when Matic Kralj hit his second of the match, assisted by Dave Phillips and Russ Cowley and although James Jorgensen scored a second for the Scottish team on 59.35, Coventry had a good victory.
