Bees Win At Swindon

Coventry Bees won 46-44 at Swindon tonight in a re-arranged Elite League meeting.

With Hans Anderson at number one for The Bees, Swindon won the first heat 4-2 and and led until Kennett and Barker levelled it up in heat three.

Chris Harris prevented a 5-1 in Heat four but that was the score in the next heat.

A re-run heat six finished 3-3 before the Bees reduced Swindon's lead to four points with a 4-2 in the seventh heat.

Korneliussen won heat eight and in Heat 9, Harris and Bridger rode to a 5-1 to level the scores at 27 all.

Both sides won 4-2 followed by Barker and Bridger taking another 5-1 to put Coventry four points up.

Heat 13 finished 3-3 and in Heat 14, Kennett and Arron Summers took the lead up to six points.

It was a good job they did as in his last heat for Swindon at the Abbey, Leigh Adams took the victory in a 5-1 but the Bees won the meeting by 46-44.
