Bees Win At Peterborough

Coventry Bees kept up their push for a Play-off place with victory at Peterborough tonight.

This was a must win meeting for the Bees tonight at they persue a play-off place and it was the home side who won the opening heat 4-2 before hold the Bees 3-3 in the next two.



In a re-run Heat Four, Chris Harris and Przemyslaw Pawlicki finished one and two for a 5-1 to put the Bees ahead for the first time in the meeting.

Kazprzak and Richard Sweetman were sandwiched by former Bees rider Rory Schlein for a 4-2 before the next four heats all finished 3-3.

Peterborough won Heat ten 5-1 to tie the scores at 30-30. Heat 11 finished 3-3 before Pawlicki and Bridger made sure of a 4-2 for The Bees in Heat 12.

Three 3-3's finished the meeting to see Coventry delight a good travelling support with a 46-44 victory.
