Bees Well Beaten at Wolves

Coventry Bees remain without a victory after going down 56-36 at Wolverhampton tonight.

With Stuart Robson replacing Mateusz Szczepaniak who has been released by the club, the rider who is doubling up with his Newcastle ride, was named in a team which was as follows:  Krzysztof Kasprzak, Stuart Robson, Aaron Summers, Grzegorz Zengota, Scott Nicholls, Michal Szczepaniak, Joe Screen.

Ty Woffinden won the opening heat to take a 4-2, which was followed by a 3-3 and a 5-1.

After a 3-3,. the Bees first heat win of the night came in heat five with a 4-2 victory in a re-run heat.

Scott Nicholls did his best in heat six but could not stop a 5-1 win for Wolves who were now 22-14 ahead.

A 4-2 to Wolves saw Robson take a tactical ride and he was beaten into third place to give Wolves a 5-1.

Scott Nicholls took the tactical ride in Heat nine and the Bees took a 5-3 win but a 4-2 and 5-1 left The Bees 43-25 going into the interval.

Both sides had a 5-1 win before heat fourteen finished in a 3-3. before the meeting ended in a 4-2 win for Wolves who took a 56-36 victory.
