Bees Heavily Beaten At Kings Lynn

Coventry Bees were heavily beaten 54-35 at Kings Lynn tonight

Only Nicklas Porsing and Hans Andersen finished a first heat which saw Kyle Howarth excluded and Niels Iversen retire.

Jason Garrity ended up going back off fifteen metres in the second heat but James Sarjeant and Garrity were able to get round Mallett for a 3-3.

Chris Harris was excluded from heat three for failing to make the two minute warning in a heat that Kings Lynn won 5-1.

Another 5-1 followed before a 3-3 and in a twice re-run heat six, the Bees reduced their defecit to five points with a 5-1 win thanks to Andersen and Harris.

Howarth and Fisher allowed the Kings Lynn riders to pass them to see the Bees trailing 28-19.

Heat nine had to be stopped when Mallett and Sarjeant crashed. When after the duo were treated the meeting finally got back under way and had to be stopped again when Garrty went down and his bike went over the fence. That left Lewis Kerr as the only rider in the heat and he took the three points.

It was six points in heat ten when Chris Harris took the tactical ride and and Fisher's bike packed up. That was the last heat win for the Bees as Kings Lynn hit back with two 5-1's and a 4-2.

Andersen and Harris rode for a 5-1 in the last heat but the Bees went down to a 54-35 defeat.
