Rory Schlein top scored with fifteen points as the Bees ran out 49-43 winners and collected a bonus point to keep them top of the league by 3 points. the win is all the better for it was achieved without No 1 rider Scott Nicholls with his programmed rides being shared amongst the remaining 6 team members.
The Bees next match is next monday evening with a home clash again Oxford, against whom Bees achieved a resounding 65-28 victory in this seasons earlier 'A' fixture at Brandon.
The meeting starts at 8pm with the riders parade at 7.45pm.
