SHEFFIELD WEDNESDAY V COVENTRY CITY
SATURDAY OCTOBER 1ST AT 3PM
AT HILLSBOROUGH

Hillsborough is situated 3 miles north of the city centre, but visitors are advised to avoid this route and approach the ground from the north instead. Parking is possible in the area just north of Hillsborough.

From The North/South/East - Exit the M1 at junction 36 and follow the A61 towards Sheffield. Continue along the road for approximately 4 miles until the 2nd roundabout. Take the 3rd exit (Leppings Lane) - the ground is situated on the left-hand side.

From The South/East - Leave the M1 at junction 33 and turn left towards Sheffield City Centre on the "Sheffield Parkway" dual carriageway. Continue until the end of the Parkway, when you will come to Park Square roundabout. Turn right and continue to follow signs for the A61 towards Barnsley. Signs for Hillsborough are also prominent. The stadium is situated 3 miles from the city centre and is on your left-hand side after Hillsborough Park.

From the West - Take the A57 for Sheffield. As you approach the city the road splits in two - take the left fork onto the Rivelin Valley Road (A6101). Continue for approximately 3.75 miles, turn left (onto one way system) and follow the road round to the right onto Holme Lane. This road then becomes Bradfield Road. At the junction with the A61 Penistone Road, turn left towards Barnsley. Hillsborough Stadium is on the left-hand side after Hillsborough Park.

By Train Sheffield Railway Station (Contact Midland Mainline on 0845 712 5678) is situated in the town centre, 3 miles from the ground

By Supertram Take the South Yorkshire Supertram (signposted from the Railway Station) towards Middlewood Road (yellow route). Exit at the Leppings Lane stop, which is a short walk from the ground.

By Bus
From the Railway Station, Flat Street Bus Terminus is a one-minute walk - cross over at the pedestrian crossing, and follow the signs. Bus numbers 53, 77 and 80 all run from Flat Street to Hillsborough. From Angel Street, buses 74 and 74a run to Hillsborough. From Snig Hill, buses 85 and 86 run to Leppings Lane. From the Sheffield Transport Interchange, bus 57 runs past the ground towards Stocksbridge. On matchdays, bus frequency should be roughly every 15 minutes.

TUESDAY OCTOBER 4TH AT 7PM
At RUGBY TOWN

Exit the M6, Junction 1 (or M1, Junction 19), and follow signs towards Rugby (first exit on the roundabout).  Then go straight over the next two roundabouts until you come to a main ‘Mr Kipling’ Roundabout.  Take the first exit on the roundabout, which follows downhill to a mini-roundabout, where you should carry straight on.

You should come past housing on both sides of the road before a large field, however, you should continue along this road (Boughton Road/Butlers Leap) until you come to its end at a T-Junction.

Turn right here, and continue up the hill past the golf course on the left and take the second left turning, which is at a mini roundabout (Butlin Road).  Carry on down here until you come to cemetery gates when you should take a left turn at the top of the road and then a quick right, but the ground will be in view already.

MONDAY OCTOBER 10TH AT 7PM
At Vicarage Road,Watford

By Car: Exit the M1 at Junction 5 and follow the A4008, signed 'Town Centre'. Take the slip road by-passing a roundabout (again, signed 'Town Centre') and continue on the A4008. After passing under a railway arch take the second exit (straight on) at the next roundabout to approach traffic lights at the junction with the ring-road.

Continue on the ring-road, getting in the left-hand lane to follow signs for West Watford (A4145) and Watford General Hospital . At a t-junction, turn left and immediately get in the right-hand lane to follow the road round into Fearnley Street (again, signed for West Watford and the hospital).

Get in the left-hand lane, pass through traffic lights as your bear left and the ground is 200 yards up on your left, opposite the Red Lion pub.

AT PORTMAN ROAD,IPSWICH

Take the A1214 from the A14/A12 following signs for Ipswich West. Proceeed through Post House hotel traffic lights and at the third set of lights,turn right into West End Road. The ground is a quarter of a mile on the left.

AT THE WALKERS STADIUM

From North & South (from the M1/M69 Motorways): The M1 and M69 Motorways interchange at Junction 21 (M1), where you should exit and follow the signs for the City Centre via the A5460. After 3 miles turn right onto Upperton Road, go over the bridge and take the first right down Western Boulevard and you will see the Walkers Stadium. Gound on your right-hand side.

BY RAIL The Walkers Stadium is five minutes drive, or 20 minutes walk from British Rail, London Road, Leicester.
