HOW MUCH EXTRA THE GREEN TRAVEL PLAN IS GOING TO COST YOU?

Right, you've paid up to £352 for your season ticket or more if you're going corporate,so how much will you have to shell out for parking or travelling by bus?

There are eleven Park & Walk sites (although Park and Hike is more truthful for some of them),which have been named. You can opt to park at the Novotel close to the M6 or if you like a trek, why not try the Centre AT7 or Mercia Park. Nearer sites include Unipart, the Three Horseshoes pub and at the Blackburn estate in Longford.

To park here costs £120 per car per season or a fiver on a match by match basis. The sites open two hours before kick off and close one hour afterwards. Try not to be too late after the final whistle as a towing away scheme will be in operation.

There are two park and ride sites which might suit the less active. These are at BBS Transport in Bayton Road, Exhall and at the Jaguar Development Centre in Whitley. They cost £170 per car per season or £7 on a match by match basis.

A special bus will be operated by Travel Coventry running from Pool Meadow to the Arena every ten minutes (service 101). However, to use this bus,you will have to buy a ticket from CCFC's ticket office costing £3 per match or £42 for fourteen games up until Jan 02 2006. Normal T.C. bus passes are not accepted on this route.

There is also a 102 Stagecoach service from Nuneaton which passes through Bedworth. This departs one hour 45 mins and one hour 15 mins before kick off and drop off at Judds Lane by the Arena.

Travel Coventry buses will also have increased services on a matchday. Buses numbered 4,13,20,20A,30 and 40 all go either to or relatively close to the ground, as do Stagecoach bus numbers 48,56,57. Expect to pay £1 each way on T.C. buses.

To use one of the six buses organise by the Sky Blue Trust and Mike De Courcey Travel will set you back £4 per game for Adults and £2.50 for U16's plus a £4 membership fee for an identity card.

De Courcey have also stepped up their services with four buses per hour starting ninety minutes before kick off on the 701,702,073 & 704 routes.

If you are travelling by taxi expect to pay between £6 and £9 from the station or town for a single journey.
