Club Slammed Over Season Ticket Price Increases

Coventry City today were severely criticised for announcing a ticket price increase for seats at the Coventry Arena.

A West Terrace season ticket cost £290 this season but will rise to £352 in the new Arena. This price of £352 covers all areas of the ground apart from the section for visiting supporters.

Speaking to Covsupport one supporter said: "Typical Coventry City, only after our money again. "We are the only club moving to a new stadium that has not made the first season cheap and attractive enough to encourage new supporters.

"We are going to have problems getting there and then they expect to fleece us whilst we are there with this exorbitant price increase.

"I'm disgusted that there has been none of the proposed consultation with supporters and I'll certainly have to consider whether it will be worth it as the prices clearly indicate the the club do not want adult supporters.

"I wouldn't mind if we were playing Premiership football but that looks highly unlikely considering the current manager."

No date has been announced of when the tickets go on sale. Disabled supporters are advised to contact the club for price details.
